Any way to get registry file back or make a general list of macros that you can universally macro in the t4c config file?  Would be great for macroing Crimsonscale jewelry and AC spells, as I assume most players keep those spells uniform across all characters.  Remacroing sucks so bad.

    Thank you very much Mouse!

That's why making a dummy account that houses your forum username is a good idea...

See news section, they are working through it.

Warriors are seriously lacking in damage output department.  If you follow a warriors' build, from level 1-25, they are like every other class (building straight endurance), from 25-50, they shield level on worshippers, from 50-85, they shield level on drakes, from level 85 -100, they shield level on dragons, and from 100 on, they become runners for mages at spiders/wolves.  The sad thing is regardless of what type of warrior you build, your last viable weapon is at 350 str.  That's not a huge dealbreaker for an ancient warrior, because that's relatively high level to get.  However, if you build Starshade, you can hit 500 str by 160 (depending on int/wis).  If a warrior is going to put in that kind of time, it would be great if they could get a powerful 1h weapon that does massive damage, as their life is a war of attrition.  Mages can kill from a distance, archers can kill from a distance, but a warrior has to be right in the fray.  Having said that, Ancient Scimitar +3 and Saga Scimitar +3 should be added into game.  I realize that the damage on these weapons would be huge, but when you spend almost no part of your life actually swinging, it's sad to think of what the class is.  It would be a great first step to creating an area that has high exp/kill mobs that are very magic resistant so warriors could level by swinging again.   The 2nd suggestion is to make a no/low graphic earthquake spell, as the current spell is very graphic (and lag) intensive.  Old school EQ didn't drop rocks from the sky, it just did the pentagram graphic.  To keep points in check from old to new players, the requirement for this new EQ spell should be 0 skill points, 0 gold, and pre-req of Earthquake.  That would make all players still have to spend the points/gold on original EQ in order to buy upgraded EQ.  Thanks

Please also fix the gold drop or sellable item drops.  It's sad that the best gold farming by a mile is on SH, the Vircom created third island.  I can collect more in an hour in Skraugs or Gremlins than I can in a day at spiders and probably more than a week at wolves (which is the worst place I've ever seen for gold, considering the level required to hunt there).  How bout putting in some junk drops on 4i?  I can get Mith Blade +1 from Mord's skellies and High Metal Hand Axe from Mord's Dungeon.  How bout more things like this that we can sell?  I'm never going to make a dime off crafting, but I'm going to bury 100 million gold into it.  That's a hell of a lot of spiders I'll have to kill at 300 gold per...

There are no level 225 recipes for armorcrafting.  I'm assuming that since Adamantite is at 215, Ancient "should" be at 225, but it's not.  Error, or is it some crazy rare drop off a mob?  Also, rumor is that droppable recipes are coded to only drop for someone that is a master of that trade.  This presents an issue, as without having a comprehensive list of what drops where, it's impossible to guess right and get the right trades on the right characters (example, Armorcrafting is on Arthur, who is dark/water, but if Ancient recipe were to drop off say P'Tangh, he would be the last character to take up there).

*cough* Ancient Scimitar +3 *cough*... nuff said.

It looks like there are close to 75 players online between all 6 servers, but I'm getting cannot connect message.  Is it up?

15 and 30 minute orbs.  You get the total exp you made in that period of time added to your exp at the end of the orb duration.

Cost needs reduced.  One would bury more than 100m gold into crafting for no real return.  String/silk/cloth requirements on all items need to be cut to about 1/4 of the current cost.  It is impossible to get high enough in woodcrafting to max out armorcrafting.
  • 09 September 2013 22:22 in: 4th Saga
Then in wood crafting, the sheer amount of materials required to fail a bow is so high I just quit. ^^^
  • 11 September 2013 23:13 in: 4th Saga
No one has +1 or +2 weapons.  You can skip through so many of the harder ones because of the amount of materials and percentages for successes.  I wouldn't ever waste the ridiculous amount of strings required to make a "worthwhile bow".  Or... you can fail a +3 after failing 2 +1 and 1 +2, thereby requiring 4 +1s and 2 +2 to be made... just to fail the +3...

Already too lopsided with 50 level top to bottom range, not to mention that the game always tries to group the 2 lowest levels.

Since we lost ours, I think the logical choice for Dev is Saga GM, since he actually logs in and does things still.
  • 29 September 2013 08:58 in: 4th Saga
It's been almost a month since HGM logged in last I believe.  And almost a month since Mouse logged in and heard the call for change.  To answer your question, I highly doubt anything will change soon (unless Saga GM is given HGM or Dev status).

Nope, going to RM.  Back to the lack of development.

    Howdy,
I am fairly certain the Cloak and Pentacle armbands are dropped from the Mercenary Necromancers on Iceland. There is also an Onyx Power Focus if someone has high enough Jewelry. Just an fyi
Only 1 person on server high enough to make Onyx Power Focus.

Yes he does.  I'm around for a while today, if you happen to log in, we can discuss it.

What all bosses did you kill up there?  Do you know who drops what?
  • 11 January 2014 00:28 in: 4th Saga
We play on the same server, right?  There was a buttload of stuff that was broken.  Shall we start with the entire 4th island?  There were 2 good leveling spots beyond Hellspawns and you had to be very careful how you spawned (you could spawn 1000 wolves or spiders and basically afk level, but if you spawned a couple necro skellies, the whole party had to log out).  The Desert was shit, the Circus was shit, the mobs south of entry point onto 4i were unnamed and had no stats, skills, drops, or anything else relevant assigned to them.  Quest lines from long ago were left hanging.  Go make a Dark Mage.  The nerf completely fucked that class up (mine is a lvl 141 locker that barely ventures out to SH).  The experience in Iceland is trash.  I can do better at Dragons than off Yetis, and I can watch an entire movie while dropping every buff I have at Dragons, and I still have more than enough AC.  There is no good place to level a 125+ non-ancient character, unless running for your life while a mage kills constitutes good leveling.  Wolverine has logged in more in 1 week than HGM did in damn near a year.
  • 11 January 2014 12:01 in: 4th Saga
So, by your own admission, there are things wrong with the server.  Just an FYI, Wolverine has implemented player ideas for several different things, has added new leveling areas for lower level players (after all, when we 4x-5x, we ALL can't fit at Fallens/Worshippers).  He's working on creating quest line and new ways to level, so people that don't want to grind don't have to.  And lets be perfectly honest.  If Wolverine logged in every day, threw a raid once a week, and never changed a single thing on the server, he would still have done 5x as much as HGM did in his whole time, when raids were banned and we'd go WEEKS at a time without a GM logging in.  We don't need him to build an entirely new game, we just need someone's presence and to know that the server hasn't been forgotten.  Everything else that he does (which is abundant) is just a bonus.

9 million gold per character.  Better start collecting.  Do you just go to Oracle and seraph out again, or is there another NPC?
  • 27 February 2014 22:25 in: 4th Saga
6 characters and all professions (3 maxed)... gold will be an issue.
  • 09 March 2014 11:25 in: 4th Saga
Dude, this is unhealthy.  In the 6 hours I was gone, you brought it up 2 more times in main (and 2 or 3 times last night AFTER it was dead and gone) and brought it here.  I told you I'd talk to Wolverine and see if I could actually get a formula for it.  Just relax until then.  I'm not saying you are a liar, I'm saying you are confused and spreading false information.

I'd be more interested in crafting getting fixed, since as it stands, it's near impossible and cost prohibitive to craft to the high end weapons at this point.  I've maxed out 3 skills and only halfway to max level on woodcrafting.

    Arthur, 164, Archer, 5x.
  • 24 February 2015 23:25 in: 4th Saga
Some of us have done it 30 times on this server alone.  It's not that big a deal.

Look me up in game.  Cix, Gabe, Howie, Bill.
